Woven Together in the wonder and way of Jesus.

Woven together…

  • Into God’s plan/story

  • Into God’s family

  • Into the fabric of our community

(What we value)

We will be people who are…

Engaged Biblically:

The Bible is an anchor for our lives. Through studying Scripture, we learn to hear God’s voice as His Word shapes our decisions and plans. His Word motivates us to share the Gospel (Good News of Jesus) both in our words and actions locally and globally.

Spirit-led:

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in followers of Jesus. We desire to be engaged with the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers, using them to positively impact the world around them. Prayer is an essential part of Spirit-filled living. How we honour others, showing kindness, patience, humility, honesty, and forgiveness reveals the work of the Spirit in us.

Worship-full:

Worship is first of all offering our lives, all we are, to God as “living sacrifices”. Using our talents and gifts to love and serve others; doing this with a spirit of humility, generosity and abundance reveals a life of worship. This involves our mind, emotion, body, and spirit as we engage with God in an effort to elevate Him for who He is as much as for what He has done. We worship individually and corporately with all ages in many forms and contexts.

Following after Jesus:

Growing to be like Jesus is both an individual journey and a group effort. As Christ-followers we have a personal responsibility to seek God, learn from others more mature in faith and in turn pass on what God is teaching us. Our continued growth is evidenced by Spirit-led change in the way we serve others, how we lead, how we care for the vulnerable and how we use our gifts. As we follow Christ and support one another we fellowship together as the church family.

Knit Together:

Connected in relationship with our immediate local family and our extended global family. We endeavour to champion this kinship and collaborate wherever possible with churches, agencies and individuals sharing the Good News of Jesus.

Didsbury & area focused:

We know that we have been planted in the Didsbury region for a purpose. We seek to connect with our community and partner whenever we can. We recognize that we are called to be a blessing and to seek the welfare of our community. Our prayer is that Didsbury will experience the love of Jesus.

Open Invitation:

With a posture of humility, we will invite those who are on the margins, who feel forgotten or left out, who face physical and emotional barriers to come and be part of this family. We will work to remove as many barriers as we can so that people can meet Jesus who does the healing work in our lives.
